Christmas/New Year/Easter Are available by negotiation. 200 Euros per week plus 75 Euros charge for wood and electricity.
2 - 3 week holiday rental bookings
We will ask you for a deposit of 20 percent of the price payable to secure your self catering holiday booking for the gite rental, which is non-refundable.
The rate per week for 2 to 6 persons is from 200 to 425 Euros depending on season ( less your booking deposit ) and there will also be a refundable deposit of 125 pounds sterling payable by cheque on the first day of your stay which will be returned within 1 to 2 weeks of your departure in the event of no damage or breakages.
All prices are normally in Euros but we can accept full payment in sterling for your booking if this make things a little easier for you. Please email us at here for details how to make payment.
Long Lets.
One of the advantages of renting a self catering gite in Creuse and Limousin is that it is still one of the best areas in France for finding bargain house prices with space and peace and quiet. There are many Estate Agents and Imobiliers within easy reaching distance of our gite. With a bit of pre-planning you should be able to find something suitable for your needs and quickly arrange a viewing. Please be aware that in France Estate Agents fees can vary quite considerably and you should check details thoroughly. Whilst there is a bit of competition between the Estate agents it is nowhere like the competition back home and fees ranging between 5% - !0% are quite common.
There are plenty of properties for sale in Creuse and in our little village there is at least 4 or 5 houses for sale. All are within the center of the village and you could arrange viewings with the prospective sellers and walk from our gite to the houses in about 5 minutes. This is just a little information to give you an idea of what you can expect in the area and we are in no involved with any of the properties.
Many people have visited the area for their annual vacations, fallen in love with area and spend the whole of the holiday trying to view properties and organize all aspects of buying a house only to find that there is just not enough time to do it properly. It can be done in a short period of time but you end up using all your holiday for running around and not for relaxation. Instead of your normal 2 week gite rental it might be an idea to have a longer period of rental and take the time to get it organized the way you want it. Therefore you might want to consider long lets for 4-5 weeks, 1- 3 months or even longer.
If you have all ready purchased your property but it is unlivable or you are planning extensive renovation work then a long let might be more suitable than camping on site. Camping on site has it's advantages but if you have large family and animals to look after it can get a bit cramped. At La Tuilerie we have the space and facilities to cope with most eventualities and animals can be catered for as well. We are pet friendly and welcome visitors with cats an/or dogs.
We offer a special rate of 700 Euros per calender month (wood and electricity extra) for people who are house hunting, buying a house, or seeking self catering accommodation at our gite during
renovation work etc.
This rate is not normally available during the Peak, High, and Mid season but can be booked by negotiation.

Long let bookings of 4 weeks and above.
For bookings of 4 weeks we will ask you to pay the full 4 weeks gite rental in advance, and for longer bookings we will ask you for 1 month in advance along with a full months rental as a security deposit that will be returned after the rental is up less any deductions for breakages.
